Should interprovincial trade barriers be eliminated?

It is often easier to sell Canadian goods to the United States than to the next province — differing rules cover trucking, alcohol, professional licensing and more, at an estimated cost of tens of billions per year. Removing them requires provinces to give up local control they've defended for decades.
